Verizon XV6900 News

Verizon Wireless rolled out the XV6900 today, April 16th 2008. The phone can purchased online from the Verizon Wireless web store. With a qualifying 2 year contract the phone can be had for $299.99. A $50.00 mail-in rebate brings the cost down to $249.99.

With the release of the XV6900 just a few short days away, Verizon Wireless has announced that it has lowered pricing for the unlimited data plan from $45.00/month to $29.99/month. This puts pricing for high speed data network access on par with Sprint and AT&T.

[Updated 4-7-2008] The official announcement has been made. The XV6900 will be available online and in B2B channels on April 16, and will be in retail stores by April 30.

The XV6900 from Verizon Wireless is priced similarly to the other Windows Mobile phones in their lineup. Verizon is offering generous discounts for purchasing the phone with a 2 year contract, qualifying voice/data plan and qualifying unit replacement. In addition. Verizon is offering a mail-in rebate which drives the final cost down even lower.

Verizon Wireless, today announced the XV6900 will be available in April through Verizon Wireless business sales channels, at Verizon Wireless Communications Stores and online.
